Who We Are

Live and eat with love

ViVi is an exhortation, a passion for organic food and the outdoors, for sharing the unbridled pleasures of the palate and for a healthy and natural lifestyle. We were born in a park and carry within us the greenery of the trees and a love of nature, a passion for organic food, and the joy of being together.

ViVi is also a wonderful collection of venues boasting some of Rome's most beautiful locations: the Villa Pamphili park, Palazzo Braschi in Piazza Navona, the foyer of the Teatro Sala Umberto, the Galleria Borghese, and the top floor of La Rinascente on Via del Tritone. A collection second to none!

Finally, ViVi is a Benefit Corporation, meaning a company whose bylaws, in addition to being for-profit, also aim to promote the common good. We are actively engaged in various areas: from focusing on clean food with a low environmental impact to using clean energy, from combating food waste to organizing free activities for the well-being of our community, such as Yoga in the Park.

ViVi – Le Serre

And finally, there's Le Serre, a dream realized in 2020. A Botanical Restaurant, Wine Bar, Cafe, and Shop in a unique location. On the hills of Monte Mario, in the ancient greenhouses of a historic private park. Experience nature 12 months a year.

ViVi – Villa Pamphili

Our first bistro, opened in 2008 in the heart of Villa Pamphili Park. From summer aperitifs to dinners under the stars, from picnics in the park to free yoga classes, ViVi - Villa Pamphili is an enchanting world for lovers of outdoor living.

ViVi – Piazza Navona

A magnificent courtyard and large windows overlooking the most beautiful square in the world. Palazzo Braschi, home to the Museum of Rome, is home to ViVi - Piazza Navona. From breakfast to summer dinner, this bistro is for those who love good, unabashedly beautiful things.

ViVi – Piazza Venezia

In the sumptuous halls of Palazzo Bonaparte, facing Piazza Venezia, you'll find the literary bistrot inspired by the cafés of 1920s Paris, offering good mood food in a sparkling atmosphere from breakfast to after-dinner drinks, from brunch to Milanese aperitifs!

What is a Benefit Corporation?

Today, more than ever, we are called upon to address the challenges of environmental sustainability, and we are required to operate responsibly, sustainably, and transparently towards people, communities, the land and the environment, cultural and social assets and activities, institutions, associations, and other stakeholders—as our corporate purpose states.

Since June 26, 2020, ViVi has been a Benefit Corporation, that is, a company that defines in its bylaws the common good-related goals it intends to pursue. As we work, as we cook our biovicious dishes and do our best to satisfy our customers, we also consider how we can simultaneously benefit people and the planet. Choosing to transform into a Benefit Corporation meant consciously embracing an alternative business model, based on the idea that a commercial activity can and should operate with a regenerative mindset, aiming beyond profit to have a positive impact on the world around us.

Benefit Corporations affirm with their very existence and success that an alternative economic model is possible. ViVi is currently plastic-free, offers organic and seasonal food, offers plant-based dishes with a low environmental impact, supports women's employment, offers free yoga classes in the park, produces environmentally conscious cultural content, supports initiatives aimed at the health of the biosphere, and is powered by clean energy from renewable sources. And this is just the beginning.

B Corp Certification

We are in fact working to obtain the B Corp certification, which is awarded only to the most virtuous companies. To become a B Corp, you must pass a rigorous selection process that measures various parameters: ethics and transparency, corporate culture, and environmental, social, and economic impact. Every aspect of a company is examined, from employee relations to its impact on the local community. Aim for B Corp certification requires a very concrete, yet wonderful, commitment to contributing to the creation of a better society.

Women, friends, entrepreneurs

Cristina Cattaneo and Daniela Gazzini, the two founders of the ViVi brand, had a dream: a place all their own, where everything—every plant, every dish, every chair—reflected their desires. A large kitchen for preparing delicious dishes, abundant light to illuminate the spaces, a splendid flower garden and a crackling fireplace, plenty of space inside and out to welcome guests, and glass walls to immerse yourself in nature in all seasons.

Enjoying nature 12 months a year while living in the center of Rome. And that's how Le Serre was born.

Cristina and Daniela are two entrepreneurs who rolled up their sleeves to create something special, two best friends who decided to share a life journey, two colleagues who have worked side by side for years, creating a solid and imaginative partnership. They don't yet know where the ViVi brand will take them, but they can't wait to get started!
